Have a Happy Holiday Season, full of joy. If you can in your life time but change the life of another for the good, its a wonderful blessing. God Bless all who died and suffered loss that day, Sept 11, 2001. I pray for you all, and will continue for all time. This was a day that most people will never forget where they were, or what they were doing during the attacks. Many of us from a safe distance still could feel the horror that was happening to those that were so very close or directly in it. My heart goes out to those firemen and police that were in the buildings at the time trying to save lives, and lost theirs that day, and for the ones that made it out that hurt so badly losing so many friends and family. I also pray for the families that go on day to day year after year having lost someone either on one of the planes or in one of the buildings that were destroyed. I have tried to follow articles and such to see how all are doing as the years have gone on, and it seems most are doing well, thank goodness, if not they have been able to conceal that well from the public. In either event, God bless you for your courage and strength. The terrorist perhaps thought they could break the human spirit, but the complete opposite occurred. The American people stood up against these attacks with honor and courage, and continue to do so. That we will never forget what happened and that we will stand guard as a stronger nation from those very attacks. It didn't weaken us, it gave the American people a bond that cannot be broken. We now know that no matter what happens in our future we can move forward, together hand in hand.

I will tell you my story of 911 which I haven't yet done on my blog. It is by far not nearly as intense as for the people that were inside the twin tower area in NY city that day... but perhaps it may touch someones heart.

It all starts when I was just seventeen. I had a very strong dream in color that if I ever were to get on an airplane something bad would happen. At that age I thought for sure it would involve me in a crash or something..... but I wouldn't know for another 31 years the answer to that. So for many years family and friends tried to get me to fly, even buying tickets for me and at the last minute me refusing to go. I fought this for many years, being ridiculed and laughed at, but for me it was a major fear, for I had believed my dream. So I missed many trips and family lost money on me when I wouldn't go.

In 2001 my mother approached me, asking me to go with her to her 50th high school reunion, which would take place Sept 7th and 8th. One night a dinner, and the next a dance and gathering. My mother had COPD and I knew she perhaps wouldn't make it to another reunion after her 50th that would have as much importance, so I told her I would go with her. She had asked me a couple months in advance and would call me on a regular basis to make sure I wasn't changing my mind.. I would assure her I wasn't ( although each time I thought of it I would shiver).

One week prior to our leaving, I had another dream that seemed to be related to my flying. It was very vivid and in color and very upsetting. In my dream I saw myself sitting on the left side of a plane about half way back, it had three seats on one side and two on the other. All of a sudden there was a huge fireball that started at the front of the plane and came through and melted people and everything in its path. Meanwhile I also was looking out the window and a large black line was across a field. The dream was much more involved but those were the impressionable parts I remembered most. I had no idea what this dream really meant but I was in someway sure it had to do with this trip I was about to take. I called my mother and told her I had a very disturbing dream. She asked me if we were going to die, I replied I don't think so but I think something very bad is going to happen when we flew. She said ohhh as she always did and said again that my chances of dying in a plane were far less than me dying in a car.

We took off out of Tallahassee Florida on Wednesday Sept 5th 2001 and had a stop over in Ohio before getting to Buffalo Ny which would be by late noon. Flying into Ohio I felt something strange come over me but set myself at ease or tried, I was so anxious to just get to Ny. We made it to Buffalo on schedule and was greeted by my mothers sister and her husband at the airport. We would spend our next days with them and also visiting other family members during our stay. My mothers reunion was lovely and such nice people she had gone to school with were there. My mother was 67 and it was really surprising how many were still living at the reunion, we both enjoyed it very much. The whole trip seemed to go by so quickly and it was soon to be the day we would return home.

It was the morning September 11 2001 the day we were to return home. I woke rather early to gather my things and be ready in a few hours to board another plane. My Uncle loaded our luggage into the car, while we finished checking the house for belongings. My Aunt and Uncle arranged for some of my cousins to meet at a restaurant nearby where they lived to have an early breakfast and a farewell meeting. It was great to see them all and was very glad I had made the trip. My Aunt had forgot something at her home so we took the short trip back there before heading to the airport. Mom and also myself had to use the restroom so we all piled out of the car. During this time my Aunt had received a call from one of my cousins who worked for Niagara Falls and he instructed my Aunt to turn the tv on and to also not take us to the airport, something very bad had happened in the city.

My Aunt yelled to us to turn the tv on and as we all filtered into the living room the second plane was seen hitting the second tower. As it did I heard those words again strongly in my head, a man stated on the television, "Look at the huge fireball" the words that rang so loudly in my dream. As the day went on I would see other things I had seen in my dream several days before we had left on the trip. My knees buckled and I fell back on the sofa saying to my mother, see I told you so. I began to wonder why I even had had that dream in the first place, what good could I have done to help any of those innocent people that were killed and or hurt that day. For many months I felt guilt not having been able help.. or to have been able to prevent this tragedy. I questioned why I was given so little information.. and as time went on I had to learn to forgive myself because it was eating me away. I had to look at what had happened as others had..and not at my dream, that it was an evil attack on American soil that was meant to bring us to our knees, however no matter what those terrorist did that day, we weren't going to bend. That if we momentarily fell we would stand taller as we stood. That America is the home of the free and the brave and we would show the world that.

Thank for reading my story, although it was of little importance it still took courage for me to write it here on the blog. This story is also dedicated to my mother who died last year on June 12th 2010 of COPD, although I wish she could have been sitting here with me this day. When we got home that year of the attack she made me an album of our flight up and back containing our tickets and photos of family and the union.

Farm Life

I am moving more these days then I ever did. I had lived in my home for 37 years and had to move in 2008, and have been where we are since then. We ( my son and I ) got the opportunity to move to the country about 30 miles from where we are now!
Its a very quiet mobile home on a private lot with tons of outdoor space, and pretty spacious inside as well ( more than we have now!) We have a couple neighbors that live in a actual travel trailer next door but really quite far away! Its so quiet out there and will be quite a change from what we are use to in the city.. and I imagine it will take time to get use to the quiet lol. I am sure we will manage though. We also have field near the house with cattle what we have been told will come up close and also a donkey. I just have to find a fishing hole lol, so use to being near water where I live now but will find one I am sure... I hope :) Will place some photos here in about a week or so when we finish moving to show everyone! We are really in the wilderness lol.. well I am super tired and going to bed tc till next time!! PS my internet might be off a month or so coming soon...

Road Rage and Traffic Problems

I live in Jacksonville, Florida and when in traffic I have noticed a few things that tend to ..... well get under my skin. I am normally a very calm and collected person, and let little if nothing bothers me, but lately I feel I must speak out.

I have noticed that when I drive down any road obeying the speed limit, I am confronted with high five middle fingers, seems I am slowing people up. They will ride my bumper until I either speed up, or I continue on my way within the laws limits, which then they will proceed seemingly becoming agitated and pass me quickly giving me unkind gestures. This I don't quite understand, what does it mean to "sets examples" , " obeying laws" apparently that doesn't apply anymore.

What is it when you driving down the interstate and again going the speed limit, and you find yourself among many cars that seem to be huddling together, really no space between them. They certainly aren't following the law that states to leave at least two car lengths between cars, and you just know if one of them in front of you stops quickly, that one riding your bumper behind you is going to cause you to have a really bad day. Accident waiting to happen!

How about the people that race down the road you see them coming in your rear few mirror, weaving in and out of traffic as though they are looking to get first place in some Indy 500 race. You then become concerned about the other drivers around you seeing this and wonder what their reaction will be, and whether you should pull over all together due to someone wanting to compete. Where are the police officers in times like this? They are always there if I make a mistake! Most of my few mistakes have been due to those that don't obey the law, by me trying to get out of the way and have gone a bit to fast.

How about that driver on the cell phone. Oh my gosh! I sustained a little sore neck and backache from one once. I was hit from behind, and jarred quite hard, only thing going through my mind was, is my car in one piece? I got out assessed the damage ( thankfully I had none really) the other driver approached me clinching his cell phone, so I asked him, " were you on your cell phone when you hit me?" He answered, "yes", as though I was intruding on his conversation. He apologized quickly as though he was in a hurry and needed to leave. What is that about? He hit me! I told him he was lucky it was me he hit, because I could have called the police and reported the accident, but due to no real evidence of harm done I would let the situation go. He thanked me, hurried to his vehicle and sped off again on his cell phone. ( The laws should change, where when we report someone for doing such things its valid, respected and investigated. Its a law in Florida that anyone driving with a cell phone in hand will be ticketed, however I have seen many a police officer just drive by without doing so? So who is going to help stop this from occurring, why have a law when no one will do a thing about it?

Imagine being at a stop light at an intersection, and across the way you see a someone in a car that wants to turn left. When the light turns green for both of you, you know you have the right away but they proceed to turn in front of you and the car behind them does that same. As you move forward, all start honking at you as though your in violation of interrupting their turn. Personally I think they are under impression from other intersections where they get to turn first with an arrow light at an intersection, why did the city allow that? ! Is it the same in your city? No wonder they think they can turn first, and if interrupted give unkind gestures. At intersections where no little green arrow is on a left turn, they still think they have the right to go turn first...... City of Jacksonville get this right please... change the lights where the person proceeding forward still has the right away, even when there is no little arrow for those turning left that are across from you. They aren't getting it right.... so this really needs to be corrected. So many accidents can be avoiding by changing it to the way the traffic laws are written!
Speed limit laws..... I think a lot of roads need to be re-evaluated on the speeds you can drive them. Many of these roads haven't been updated to the standards of today, they remain the same as before new construction changed the road conditions. In each state the speed limit laws are governed by the state or territory. Sometimes it seems the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.... sound familiar? I have seen lots of growth in this city road wise and as I said many road speed limits haven't changed, and perhaps someone needs to look into it.. far to many accidents have been happening since these new changes.

So many things are happening in the world today that can cause lots of stress, and one thing we can do without is Road Rage... its not productive and causes many people harm each day. Think about it, most drivers are just trying to get from point A to point B without harming themselves or anyone else. Some are slower than others, some perhaps don't need to be on the road any longer, but we are all only human and most of us are only trying to do our best. Stop pointing fingers at each other while driving, or yelling or being angry, it doesn't really help anything it only shows that you can try bully someone. If you could see how you look on camera, when you have a mean face and finger raised you might re-evaluate how you are managing yourself on the roads.... its really isn't a pretty site to us that view it.
These are just a very very few examples of the things that can and do happen on the road ways in my town, and I am sure in yours as well.... if you live in a populated area. Cities make traffic laws for a reason and I believe some of them should be re-evaluated by officials. When someone reports some violation they have seen, it should be recognized as important ..... it may save a life!

Jacksonville, FL —
Six Duval County students suffered minor injuries when a woman crashed her Mercury Grand Marquis into a school bus bound for Love Grove Elementary. The driver told WOKV's Adam Kirk she was changing lanes going through the intersection of University and Coronet and didn't see the bus in time to stop.
The woman, who didn't want to be identified, said her car bounced off the bus, hit a landscaping truck, then came to a stop on the side of the road. The driver was not injured.
Was she on a cell phone, or feeling she might be late for work, whatever it was .... isn't it hard not to see a school bus?

Lets each start thinking about changes we can make for the better on the roadways, let change the way we think about others and situations we may experience on the road. Is it worth possibly another persons life to have the last word, or to be angry you might not make it to work on time and take it out on someone else. Is it worth your life or someone elses to have a conversation on a phone... I am sure the person on the other end doesn't want to hear you have your last moments on this earth played out that way... what a legacy to leave someone..:(

1.) Face the real issues (Gal 5:13-26)

Can you admit to having a spirit of anger? Do you really want to live as God desires?
Do you want self-control?
Do you want to love one another?

We must accept the fact of our anger. Ask those around you if they sense a spirit of anger in you. Acknowledgment is the first step of overcoming anger. Why? Our pride does not make it easy to say that we were wrong in our actions, words and judgments.
Do I really want to live out God's love in my life?

Galatians 5:13-14

For you were called to freedom, brethren; only [do] not [turn] your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the [statement], "YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.
2. ) Deal with your anger (Jam 1:19-20)

Unresolved anger is always bad. I must not tolerate it.

We must acknowledge that man's anger will not accomplish God's work.

James 1:19-20
[This] you know, my beloved brethren. But let everyone be quick to hear, slow to speak [and] slow to anger for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God.

Do remember that our apology does not mean that others did no wrong. Whether they apologize for their wrong or not, it really doesn't matter, we still need to go forward in straightening out our relationships.

Confess past anger

Anger from the past must be acknowledged and confessed. Amends need to be made. Apologies for silent or open anger must be made. We also need to apologize for not loving them as you should have.

Repent from present anger

Anger in the present and future must be cut off. You must recognize man's anger is not going to accomplish the righteousness of God. You will confess that you have been responding to your own selfish desires and have focused on your own will and life, not on God's will and purpose.

3.) Die to self; live by Christ (Galatians 2:20)

I have died to myself. I now live for Jesus Christ.

An open and deliberate decision to not live according to your old life and consciously to allow Christ to live out His life in you is a special and necessary part of deliverance from anger. When this is done, you open yourself to Christ's full work in your life.

There seems to be two aspects to dying to self. There is the initial dedication period which is like starting anew. There is also the regular daily dying to self - a daily morning prayer where we commit ourselves to the Lord. (Read more)

I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and delivered Himself up for me.
4.) Break the stronghold of anger (2 Corinthians 10:3-7 )

May God destroy every last lie of mine!

A stronghold is some hidden sin from our lives that we have given up hope on overcoming. We probably have tried to overcome anger in the past. Failure brings with it a disheartening and final cover up of our sin.

Truth, however, gives strength and confidence to do what is right. Lies block out the light and therefore strip us of any confidence in overcoming a certain problem.

From the verses quoted here and the many places exhorting us to deal gently with people rather than in anger, we are clearly responsible and able through Christ to overcome this stronghold of anger.

What common lies minimize the problem of anger and therefore prevent us from overcoming anger? Where in scripture did people cover up their anger?

"He deserves it."
"I was so hurt by him. I need to get back."
"I can't help it."
"I was always that way."
"My parents were that way."
"It's not too bad."
"My anger is better than before."

Hope comes when we are broken before God over our sin and welcome Him to overcome the sin in our lives. More than often our pride minimizes our anger's wrong and makes exceptions and excuses for our anger.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5

"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, 4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. 5 We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ..."

5.) Replace anger with acts of kindness (Ephesians 4:31)

Anger must go, but I will replace it with fruits of love.

Peace and fullness of love will not be activated unless we replace our angry spirit with a loving spirit. We must not focus on what we should not do but on what we should do. Be practical. Write down a few things you can do for that friend you have wounded.

Regulate your conversation by polite statements and well-intentioned motives. For example, I will not interrupt another. I will wait for them to finish what they are saying before I speak.

Ephesians 4:31

"Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.

And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you."
6.) Fully deal with each day's anger (Eph 4:26)

Make sure before I go to bed, I deal with my anger.

Unresolved anger turns into wrath. We have a command from the Lord to heighten the importance of settling quarrel before we sleep.

Have you and your spouse made a commitment to resolve anger before going to bed?

As a parent, have you committed yourself to make peace with your children before they sleep?

One step at at time we can heal our woe's and worries our anger and sadness, resentments and begin to change the world even if it must be one person at a time! Let's set good examples for the new drivers to the road ( Our Youth)....

Indian spiritual leader Sai Baba dies at 85

PUTTAPARTHI, India, April 24 (Xinhua) -- Sathya Sai Baba, one of India's most popular and influential spiritual leaders, died Sunday at age of 85 at a hospital in his home town of Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh.

Sathya Sai Baba's body will be kept at the Sai Kulwant Hall in Puttaparthi for two days -- Monday and Tuesday. Arrangements will be made for darshan (last glimpse) Sunday evening at the hall.

Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Geeta Reddy said that Sai Baba's body would be buried Wednesday in Puttaparthi.

Sai Baba's response to medical treatment had been slow, doctors attending him said Sunday.

He was on intermittent hemodialysis and on assisted respiration until Saturday evening at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medial Sciences at Puttaparthi.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy has left for Puttaparthi to pay homage to the Baba.

Sai Baba was admitted to the super-specialty hospital on March 28 following problems related to heart and lungs. Doctors treating him said he was suffering from multi-organ dysfunction.

Sathya Sai Baba was born in 1926 into an ordinary family at Puttapathi village in Andhra Pradesh. He was named Sathyanarayana. As a child he was unusually intelligent and never showed any interest in worldly things. When he was just 14 years old, Sathyanarayana announced that he was a reincarnation of Sai Baba of Shirdi.

His miracles like creating Ash and gold rings from vacuum made him a household name across India soon. His ashram at Puttaparthi became a famous religious center within just 20 years.

From prime ministers, presidents, kings, ambassadors, sports stars, movie stars and ordinary people, millions thronged his ashram seeking his blessings for over 50 years. He founded over 1, 500 Sathya Sai Centers in 114 countries across the globe.

One of India's most famous spiritual leaders, Sai Baba led a life dedicated to philanthropy marred by the occasional controversies.

Thousands of devotees had gathered in his hometown since March 28 to pay their last respects.

Need Hope?

Hope helps us to hold tight throw life's storms be that they are great or small, with out hope we have nothing, we lose sight of how to get through the rough times.
Hope helps us to remain calm during the roughest possible storms it keeps us grounded and secure no matter what happens around us. If we believe in hope then we know that God is right there with us even in the darkest of times holding our hand and guiding us forward. It is said that people with no hope can be possibly depressed, or become ill in other ways, they have more or less given up. There are ways to prevent yourself from finding yourself hopeless, to go on with hope in your heart.

Hebrews 11:1. “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” This verse at the beginning of the faith chapter (Hebrews 11) carries with it all of the confidence that comes with knowing for sure, with no question, what we have been promised by God in His Word.

Below are Somethings That Might help You Keep or
Develop Hope
1. Be hopeless. If you are not in a tough spot where things look like they cannot get any worse, you do not need hope. Also, if you still have hope, you do not need to read this article.
2. Have a good friend. It is nearly impossible to build up hope without a positive voice in your head.
3. Fight back when things get rough. As you develop your ability to have hope, you must never give up. Hang on to anything you can while you ride out the difficult times.
4. Notice what happens to people who do not have hope. Bad things happen. You do not want to end up like them. The alternative of not having hope is ugly. Do not end up like that.
5. Help others. There are few feelings as rewarding as being an individual who makes the lives of others better. Once you begin filling your life with positive thoughts about yourself you can have hope for better things.
6. Devise a plan. You cannot just sit around and wonder why things do not get better. You must figure out a way to get out of your rut. Once you have hope, you need to do something with it. Make sure your plan includes you ending up in a happy place.
7. Go to your happy place. After you learn to have hope and use it to execute your plan, make sure you end up in your happy place.

Never Give Up Hope

Spiritual Gatherings; Forgiving

Hi everybody, glad you still come to visit at times, I know its a bit difficult to want to stay and read when there is no new material for the longest.. I have been staying pretty busy lately with Second Life and my Real Life! Just when you think life is getting better evolving and growing, down comes another bump in the road. Doesn't it seem to happen that way? Well the best thing I have found is to just climb right over that bump which can seem like a mountain at times, and continue on life's journey. While I am experiencing those bumps in the road I am constantly trying to learn from them and I usually learn some positive thing to carry with me.

I started a group several months ago that is very sweet. Its a closed group but if you ask and your in Second Life you can come as a guest and test it out to see if it fits your needs, and you like the content. Its a spiritual group called Spiritual Gatherings, one where people from many faiths have come together to learn from one another and to share our experiences. We have learned along the way that all of us share a common goal, and that is to be closer to God, and to live in his love. I think that is pretty amazing really when you consider that we come from all over the world, and have lived life in so many different ways.
We all have a great connection though in our faith and our inner beliefs spiritually. We may not believe everything one or another might believe in as far as some principles go but all in all we are a tight knit group, and bottom line belief in God.

This week and will continue next week, we are talking about forgiveness. Most of us would say well that is easy, you say your sorry or someone says sorry to you and its a done deal. It runs much deeper than that, there are so many facets to forgiving, and in some cases very hard to really forgive someone. One thing the group all agreed on is that if you just forgive with your brain/mind and not with your heart as well, you may not have really forgiven at all, or at least not totally. Letting go of hurt feelings is very hard at times, especially when it comes to very serious matters such as war crimes, slavery, murder or rape, leaving a spouse for another and so on. Sometimes the hurt can run so deep that we cover it with other feelings/emotions that keep us from seeing the real cause of our pain, and feeling lack of forgiving. We think we have in some ways forgiven and perhaps we have to a point. If you think about an incident that occurred that upset you or hurt you deeply after you thought you forgave, and you still feel the pain of it, then most likely you haven't really forgiven with your heart. Its a hard task to do, and it can takes many tries sometimes in many cases before you really can do it. The group also strongly agreed that when something is done and over with, you cannot change what has occurred, and that continuing to feel hurt or be upset at the one who caused you this grief only really hurts yourself not them in anyway. For all one knows they have gone on with life and living well. So many though continue to feel the pain of a hurt that person caused, and it just clouds the mind and heart day after day night after night with anger, fear, resentment, and pain. It is a proven fact that this is all part of stress caused by something traumatic that happened in ones life, and that it can also causes post traumatic stress, that can linger for a life time. All of that in turn can cause us to become ill, lowering our immune system, making us susceptible to very harmful diseases. Harboring those emotions keeps one a prisoner to it, learning to let go of it frees us to be ourselves once again. How do you let go? How to you finally find peace? There are several ways to do this and many fine people have written on this subject. I have learned personally to let God handle it, and what I mean by that is, I pray to forgive that person, every moment the ill feelings come to me about a circumstance that caused me this grief. Instead of falling into, oh my they did this or that, I turn it over to God I pray to him to release it from me and I pray in my heart to let myself let it go as well. There is a couple sections of someones writing on the subject on the net I found that really put it into a nutshell,

Maya Angelou wrote:

“I have forgiven myself; I'll make a change. Once that forgiveness has taken place, you can console yourself with the knowledge that a diamond is the result of extreme pressure. Less pressure is crystal, less than that is coal, less than that is fossilized leaves or plain dirt. Pressure can change you into something quite precious, quite wonderful, quite beautiful and extremely hard.”

Here is the next one;

“What could you want forgiveness cannot give? Do you want peace? Forgiveness offers it. Do you want happiness, a quiet mind, a certainty of purpose and a sense of worth and beauty that transcends the world? Do you want a quietness that cannot be disturbed, a gentleness that never can be hurt, a deep, abiding comfort, and a rest so perfect it can never be upset?
All this forgiveness offers you, and more.” - A Course in Miracles

Isn't that put so well? It helps us to see that yes, we may never forget horrible things that happen to us, but with forgiving what happened to us at the hands of another who caused us pain and suffering we are able to release ourselves from the hurt and pain we suffer from.

Gosh To Long!!!!!!!!

Okay, I suppose for sure you feel I fell off the earth or forgot how to write ( not that I have ever truly known), or worse yet forgot you my friends. Some of it is far from the truth, the ability to write...mostly true.

I have come to grips with 2010 for the most part, it was a very trying year for me. I had to remember that how we feel about something for the most part is how life will be lived. If we feel sad or overwhelmed that is what life will be like everyday, twenty four seven. For me over all that has not been the way I have lead my life, drowning in sorrow, rather I have always tried to find the good in very bad thing that has happened around me and to me in my life. However the loss of my mother threw a temporary road block in my way, one that seemed as tall and as wide as the universe. One that would take me a while to get through. Yes time has a way of healing but it was up to me to use that time wisely, which for sometime I had lost my way. This month was probably another plateau I had to reach for it was my mothers birth month and the first without her. That was hard to deal with in itself, but adding to it was finding out on the same day that a very dear friend in Second Life had passed away, Sabrinna Nightfire who at 51 died of cancer. She had died the night before on March 6th 2011. She was a giver to SL and a friend to so many people. She will be truly missed.

I now embrace the fact they are gone, ones I have loved so dearly either as family or friends, and carry with me their wonderful uniqueness in fond memories.
That If I believe we go on and which I do, then they are in a good place and I will see them again. This is what I hold on to day and night, and so I go on till my time will come.

I have always had my faith and it maybe hard to believe since I had grieved so badly for so very long, but I suppose that was a symptom of the human condition that we all share. Yes time helps us to understand that we don't have a choice in the fact we go on and really we have no choice but to except what comes. Believing in God and pray for understanding then eventually a gentle peace comes and allows healing and acceptance. If we don't believe then we just come to terms with the fact we die and are dead. So much evidence for me anyways says there is a loving God and that he has given me peace now to heal. Whether we have faith or not the time will come that we all will find out the truth!

Its very hard in a world that is changing with so much destruction with loss of life, pain and suffering, changes in the economy, loss of jobs, families being torn apart to believe that there is a place that one will go on to that is so beautiful and full of love, all I can say is that we must trust and have faith that it will be so. I feel the hardest thing for the human race to believe in is what we cannot see, but having been given the ability to have faith is what we must trust in more than we ever have during these troubled times. To give unconditional love to one another while we are here, to show compassion for our fellow man. That just might help change the world for the better.

I have had a very rough year.... I was in the hospital twice and my dear Mother passed away June 12th 2010. She was a kind and lovely women..she shared so much of her life with so many on this earth not boldly but sometimes in the background not calling attention to herself. I have much to be thankful for, that I was her daughter and she not only my mother but my best friend. I am also thankful that I learned so much from her to be able in spirit to carry on a part of her knowledge and love of this life within me. I am also thankful I lived through both illnesses this year, and am very thankful to God for this. Must be I still have some things to complete here! Thank you Dear God that you are my light and love, and that you have given me life to do your will....

This holiday season I pray you have a renewed spirit full of love for yourself and others, full of kindness and good will to all. That you can carry this on all of your days. That jealousy, hatred, fear, anger and sadness can be washed away from you, that your spirit be lifted with the light of God. That you walk in harmony with God to do his will on this earth in every good way. This I pray for all my family, friends and those I don't even know yet. Amen

I love to tour around SL, some places I go have been here for ages. I like to go and reminisce about the fun times and long time friends I have met in some of these places. One was Svarga, had been in sl a long time, however some time ago wasn't in Sl anymore.... When I want to explore these days I go to the showcased places, and low and behold Svarga was on there. I thought to myself this must be a mistake but click and there I was. I don't know how or why or how long it will be here but come see and take a walk in the past!

To Live The Simple Life In SL

We all begin in Second Life wondering what its all about....and when we think we know we find out we really didn't... and then discover its a much larger learning curve emotionally, besides all basics we must learn. For some of us we find our place in time, whatever that maybe that makes us feel we "ARE" a part of both worlds in one, giving a sense that Second Life really is a part of our Real Life.

I have been with a group now for almost two years in Second life and I found a place my heart is happy and feels I have found home. I have never met more kinder people than these anywhere in Second Life since I began ..can contribute that to only I had not found where I belonged yet:) We eventually find our home..and I believe it begins with the heart finding its path, being that we are all human.

I know some people come here and don't think about anything but its a game and they find out shortly that its not. There are groups for those still young, to play in welcome centers and greeters to help them.

When and if they find their niche here, there is no turning back because its such a part of who you are in real life, a part of you that you haven't maybe been able to express before.

I love where I am here now and the people I associate with..its all good and so much me...

The world right now is in strife and we need to focus good energy towards helping to make it what it should be again!!

I wont reveal where I live to you all here, but will show you some pictures over time, IM me if you feel you want to be a part of spiritual things meet kind people like you, ones that know... from their hearts loyal and true to their word.

Big Talbot Island State Park

Big Talbot Island State Park is another favorite spot for me to go in Jacksonville, in fact some of my paintings are from views I have seen on the diverse State Park grounds. This park features a breathtaking coastal habitat covered with oak, holly and magnolia, along with sea-oat covered dunes overlooking the ocean. Hiking is a favorite activity on the scenic nature trails and fishing, canoeing or swimming on the Nassau Sound shoreline is tough to beat. Rumor has it that the island is haunted, particularly in the spooky Houston cemetery and Tamaquan Burial Grounds just outside the entrance.

SOME OF OUR MARSH LANDS AROUND THE PARK AND IN IT

Come out and enjoy the pristine Big Talbot Island shoreline from the overlook at the Bluffs. From this comfortable vantage visitors can enjoy the weather and view the water sculpted trees that line the shore. A quick 10-minute walk along the trail will give you access to the shoreline where you can walk among these once mighty oaks and pines that have fallen victim to nature's storms and erosion.

There are tons of things to do at this park from just laying back and watching beautiful sunsets, sleeping the night there and waking up to awesome sunrises to boating,fishing, swimming, hiking trails and much more.. I enjoy finding sharks teeth there and a few pretty shells you can find on occasion. I love walking among those fallen trees although their fate hasn't been the best for the environment, it brings an interesting scene to part of the beaches of this park.

Hi everyone, this time of year when the weather begins to cool...... well slightly cooler lol, I love getting out more and doing a few things. One of my favorite places in Jacksonville to go to is the Cummer Museum. It was built in 1959, long before I discovered and it is the largest museum of fine art in Northeast Florida, housing about 5,000 pieces of work. It not only houses these fine pieces and several other forms of art, its landscapes are to die for. You can go outside to the lovely gardens that runs along the St Johns river, where many a wedding has been performed, or as I do just sit after a long walk through the museum to have some lunch.

The museum also has a learning center, which young and old can enjoy. So.... will send you a link letting you know where I have last been in Jacksonville, and if your ever in the neighborhood you might just know where to find me!! I hope to be back soon writing as usual lately real life has called me again... tc and enjoy

After a long day at the Cummer Museum, take a ride on the Annabelle Lee River Boat its wonderful to travel on the tour trips, you can also reserve for Weddings, Reunions, or just to party! I took my sons long ago on a sightseeing ride on the Annabelle and on that trip was a magic show... they loved it. Now a days I take trips on it just to feel the fresh breeze and the lovely lands along the St Johns River.

Finally if you cannot get on the Annabelle for any reason we do have many water taxi's and for a small amount of money he/she will take you all around the river! Nice ride fun place to meet people also!

Our heros didn't concern themselves with their own comfort but unselfishly were more concerned about others - even to the point of losing their lives. ACREDITAR Project in Sl for Rl Children/Families

I get invitations to go to many events in Second Life, and sometimes I might be working on something else and just skip over something, not being mean but just so into a project I just click notes and LM's away without thinking...today a good friend of mine Cesare Drucker, Imed me with a landmark about a charity, I asked him what it was about because I had never really heard the word Acreditar before. He told me it was for children with cancer and DJ's from all around SL were engaging in concert type marathon events for this charity. I am all for helping people who are ill and dying and especially children.

Cesare gave me name of a lady to contact for event schedules and such, Luna Baran who I told I was interested in doing a story on my blog for this charity. She seemed to be delighted and gave me tons of information which I will gladly pass on to you all and with great pleasure. So PLEASE read , and help if you can!

"Acreditar (Believe) is a private charitable institution RL that aims to help children and their families to better overcome the various problems that arise from the time childhood cancer is diagnosed throughout its subsequent journey and at all times helping to foster hope.
There are indeed reasons to support this hope: today, approximately 70% of childhood cancers can be cured completely and every day there is progress in the fight against disease.

The struggle is to believe that each moment has Hope!
... "It is our aim that children with cancer have the same opportunities, not only survival but also to gain the psychological health and physical growth and to lead them into adulthood."

One of the ways that the charity works is by running a number of houses around Portugal. The idea of creating houses the for these children and their families came from the need to ensure a point close to hospital for the children, accompanied by their families, during periods of outpatient treatment to stay.
In fact, many of these children do not live in urban areas. Some of them are from distant regions, not only in Portugal but also Madeira, the Azores and Portuguese-speaking African countries. The treatment often required periods of forced confinement, so the centerss are essential for families in poor areas with no facilities to adapt . The answer found was to create, from scratch, houses they could, during this time, be home to all who need them. Giving them stability together as a family and support from Acreditar.

Acreditar survives mainly by the support of its members and friends, the work of volunteers and a small body of staff which ensures its management. It is funded in the main by donations and they all help however big or small.

We the Acreditar SL team are proud to be working with this charity and hope that you will enjoy a range of events that we will be bringing to you so that you can touch the lives of those that need it RL.

I have a ton of stories to do here however early this morning learned another one of my relatives passed away he was only 51, had a brain tumor leaving behind his wife, 10 yr old son and 20 yr old daughter. God Bless you Gary you will be greatly missed :(

I have known Reno for sometime now, been to some of his events, and have always wanted to do a story on this fantastic singer! There are singers and then there are SINGERS, and Reno will capture any audience's attention that comes to see him. He loves to please his fans by taking requests during his shows, so come with your favorite song in mind he sings Classic Rock/Country/80s/Blues/Ballads & Oldies.

I had the pleasure seeing him again at Tantalus an awesome venue for live performances, in speaking with the manager/hostess of Tantalus, Jadyn Andel she gave some more information about this great venue;

Yeah, I know, another club, blah blah blah, but you have to see this one, at least once!
Tantalus originally opened in December 2006, we will celebrate 4 years in 2010.
This is not your typical dark, dank, dungeon. It's called Tantalus.
The theme is set as a Greecian ruin, surrounded by water, it is big and spacious.
The ruins are open to the magnificent sunsets over open water. Poseidon would love this place!
One of his concerts at Tantalus;

Live Music every Monday 9am-12pm and every Tuesday 4pm-6pm. With the likes of Reno Segall,Lou Mannock and Yahshvah Shinja taking the stage regular.

Today Sandy Clymer creator of "pillow talk" creations in SL passed away, she has had health issues for the past couple years. God Bless her if this is so!:( Wonderful SL creator!!!!!!!!!!! Many of her friends and customers have admired her work in SL and I am sure will miss her greatly.
Prayers are with her family and all who have had the privilege to have known her.

Those amazing Snails !!!

I have traveled in Second life these past years and have seen many interesting and curious and fun things. One thing I came upon about 3 years ago was something called the Great Snail Races, and at that time had seen a couple few of these amazing and fun races. Every time I would go to one they seemed to draw a great crowd of people, and I always found the events fun and exciting. As we all known times can get busy between real life and our second life and or one or the other and I some how lost track of these races. Luckily some group that I belong to sent out a slurl, and low and behold it was about these Great Snail Races!! At the time I was at a sandbox building and packed up my gear and off to the races I went. This time while I reminisced I was also going to get some information (curious me...smiles) of the origin of these events, or hoped to. Many of my blog readers may have seen this or some of this information in the past years from other sources but if not its very interesting how things can evolve! Enjoy

At the Race I grab a seat among a crowd that had already began to form, I imed one of the commentators which were broadcasting live from Treet Tv and asked when they had time to pass me some history on the races. This is what was written by RacerX Gullwing the creator of the very first Snail, and how it came to be what it is today.
This quoted paragraph information I received from Racer, and I am sure it was originally written a couple years ago or so due to the Great Snail Races had their 5th annual Anniversary Nov 28th 2009. You can see that event CLICK HERE There are lots of videos at Treet about different events the Snail races have been involved in as well, that one I gave will give you a good starting point!

He then passes me a notecard and says, RacerX Gullwing: "that's the actual history a few typos in there i think." I told him thank you! Here is what he said,

"about the snail race history,
It all started with a contest called Giant Avatar contest I saw was coming up in a few days back when events were only a few a day and finding them was easy. I went to the sandbox where you could usually work for about 30 minutes at a time between sim crashes
and started attaching prims to my feet but that didn't make you any taller just made prims that went into the ground. So I thought about it and figured the way I'd have to do this is be in the foot. I didn't have a clue how to script legs to move and back then movement scripts didn't work in avatars anyway . Narrowed it down a bit to a one footed animal . The shell was maxed out at 30 meters or maybe I just remember it that big. Thing is I didn't have a clue how to see out of that so had to stop a lot and cam outside the shell to see where I was.
It was hilairious I got to the contest about 20 minutes early and the guy holding it told me to please park off to the side somewhere I thought he was stearing me over there because I had obviously won and he didn't want to discourage the other avatars. Ends up I was the only one that took it him literally and made a giant avatar. Well I didn't win.

I was in a group called Montmartre Artists and we were trying to get on the most popular places list before camping chairs were invented and were each asked to come up with an event Mae Best had not another Quiz every other night it seemed like and that alone got us up to about 30th or so but not the top 20 anyway I was trying to come up with an event and talking to my good scripting friend and neighbor in fujin Catfart and he suggested giant snail racing.
That's where it all started that's when I put together a better cuter av with blinky eyes that everyone loves and they haven't changed much since. We did get into the top 20 a couple times.
It started on the ground using stone paths that circled montmartre I made all the
arrows and things needed for the racers to rez from a single prim and go find their spot in the sim just for the race then I'd go around after the race and shout the race is over and all of the signs of the race track would vanish just leaving the stone path built by May Best. They also went down the city streets of Chase Rutherford's Manhattan in the Hawthorne sim an Aimee Weber build, at 8 pm on tuesday nights. The thing that brought them to an end was mostly due to
the physics in sl where if you can find something to trip over you can fall a lot faster than anyone can run. Also once you get into that falling state you can close chat bar and hold the space bar down and get yourself to glide a long ways.
So I moved the race up into the sky onto a perfectly flat surface where there is nothing you can trip over. Same time Seifert Surface was experimenting with a transportation system that would use push and throw you across the map. He had set this set of flingers up at the future sim just one Sim south of Montmartre and owned by Chase Rutherford.
In fact I Used his experiments as the track, I just built the course around them. The race stayed in the future sim as it changed hands to Gus Plisskin, who said It was welcome to stay as long as I wanted to have it there. but the sim slowly filled to capacity and had a lot of scripts going and the flingers stopped working consistently and the sport became more of a luck thing but eventually become an endurance race. I got Seifert Surface to give me a copy of his experiments and carefully packed it all into a prim and moved it all back to where it started from Montmatre. Also if you go to http://www.sluniverse.com/pics/ and look search using the tag snail race you can see 99 percent of that history there. the snail race is only a few months older than snapzilla. Snail races will be three years old at the end of november and have been held every Saturday but canceled 2 or 3 about a year ago when I was very sick."

This is the actual Race I saw the other night, was the big final race of season 5

BOBBY LONGSPRING....Singer!

Hi All!
Since my mothers passing, and new laptop been traveling SL and things are so wonderful thought they were before but this laptop sheds a new light on things with up to date graphics! A shame I never had them in the past but glad I do now. In my adventures I have run across some awesome people! In places and situations I would least expect to meet them. One of these awesome people I meet was Izabella Criss, and let me just say it was one of those unusual situations! In meeting her we became friends, and I got to see what her and Leo Voorhees have created at MalPais Beach, Costa Rica, a nice place to see live entertainment, shop and more, located on a beautiful beach.

As a result of that meeting was an invite to a concert by Bobby Longspring, a new singer in Second Life, playing at the MalPais Beach, a great singer in SL, who in real life has been singing since the age of 11 in church and from there he sang in shows, even singing in his home town under a gazebo for many people. He loves to sing a variety of country from oldies to new modern country! His favorite artists are Trace Adkins and the Zac Brown band. I have known FrannyDJ Dean for about 2 years ... I must admit I haven't been able to keep up with her in the last months but she has been a mass builder in sl.
The Woodstock event she is now having started in June but will be ending at the end of August but this week and this weekend coming up is the anniversary of the orig woodstock festival and she is having live shows and tribute bands esp on Sat and Sun. Franny calls the people who come to event, The Woodstock '60 re-generation :)

She has really set the scene for this event, everything you see around you reminds you of that era of time if you are old enough that is lol:)She says its also set for RP! She is a builder of parades all year round for holidays but the biggest is the Macy's thanksgiving and the Macy's Christmas parade. She recreated NY City in Sl and you could stand on the sidewalk and watch these wonderful parades go by ... was very well done. Franny told me that the parades are totally interactive now you can actually ride the floats and balloons on great animations!

She also does the biggest new years eve party in sl in times square every year lol

She also sets the scene for Halloween very well with her Halloween Horror Village in fact last year I was able to see it was really great! Try to catch this year if you can ...won't be long!!

One of the art groups I belong to sent out a invite to come enjoy some rock music, sang by Mankind Tracer in Second Life. Mankind voice and guitar rocked Key West Island in SL and believe me the place was packed to hear this man! He is a great singer so if your running about sl looking for something to do you won't be disappointed in Mankind Tracer's music. He has been in SL since 11/9/2006, almost as long as I have, goes to show you how large SL is .... I found this in his profile about him;

Dane Zander's "APOLLO"

Some things remain the same in any world, with slight changes for the better, but still you know what and where it is! The Sim Apollo has been a refuge for me on so many different occasions, for finding peace of mind, or doing some writing, and or to have good conversations.
Its a very peaceful place that has been in Second life since June 30, 2004, and was created by Dane Zander, who entered sl under that name May 23rd 2004. In his words he describes this lovely place as such,

"*Relax*Explore*Enjoy* Beautiful Sim for your private moments, or just plain relaxation. Many secluded spots. The peaceful Tai-Chi area in Hyacinth Valley and the "Salsas y Boleros" romantic dance stand are just two of many places to see."

I have come here since I first came to Second Life in 2006, and have enjoyed it ever since. I have brought many people here to see his marvelous work, and to listen to the relaxing music and to explore what he offers here.

I have taken some photos of Apollo to share some of my minds eyes view of its beauty, I hope I do it justice because its worth it! Thank you Dane for giving me a place to rest my weary head and to be able to clear my mind when I need it most! Knowing there is one place in SL that I can come to that I know will be the way I remember it each time I return and in that alone there is comfort and happiness. Come see Apollo when you have time, rest a while, clear your mind... you won't regret a second of it!

I am attempting to write some articles again. I have had the opportunity to finally get an advanced pc actually laptop, which has up to date graphics and is quite enjoyable! Since revisiting Second Life its like entering a new world I have never seen! I will try to bring some interesting sites in that more than likely many have already seen, or at least some of them, but will show from my prospective.

Recently revisited the Garden of Dreams, and in my absence it has changed and is even more beautiful than before. I believe the owners are from Germany, haven't spoken with them yet to tell them how much I appreciate this well done Sim, well actually two Sims, but will try in the near future to convey how I feel.

JUNE 12TH MY MOTHER PASSED AWAY

I cannot find words right now but wanted all that know me to know my mother passed away on June 12th 2010 at 4:11am with her family around her hospital bedside. Her funeral was Thursday (17th). I have lots I will want to share as time goes on but for now just trying to adjust to life without her. TC all

Strange how our World changes

Hi Everyone,

I tell you I have so many good followers here, and to think although I haven't written here in ages, people are still checking in, and I suppose waiting for a true entry. To all of you, thank you, it truly means a lot to me! I want so much to start writing here again as I have in the past, so don't give up, that might be possible very soon!

For now, while I am here will say a few things. I have in the recent months visited SL only on occasion but its still a passion of mine, mostly because of all the wonderful true and honest friendships I have made over the years! SL holds so many good memories, desires, and is a learning experiences in just about any arena you wish to explore. Its so much a foundation for all the other growing worlds out there that are emerging on the scene! Without some crazy guys and gals in CA creating a place for them to play, the web for metaverse might not be as far ahead as it is without them. I don't think in their wildest dreams they thought they would have come so far and so relatively fast in web time. They will always be the forefathers of metaverse world, although worlds were before them, they gave SL life like no other, and its hard for many to follow in those footsteps.... for most only being able to build upon what already exists! The wealth of knowledge of ones self and of our as we call it real life in SL is incredible.

Over time I have met people in SL from all walks of life, where else on earth could I possible do that? Some might say well, in a chat room or a forum... or try this world or that one. Nah not like SL.. By diversity they captured life in such ways not possible any where else. Since the movie Avatar, and by the way I have just recently had the chance to view it, it almost defines I believe how people feel when they enter the shell of an Avatar of SL. Its almost a union of avatar and human soul, for a time slipping into a different skin but having the same mind, and being able to open it exploring even the darkest crevices of who may have dreamed to be in RL and or also exploring who we really are more deeply or purely an escape from RL. The ability for many to travel to places they couldn't possibly do in real life, due to monetary issues or illness, or fear, and also having the ability to share different experiences in real time. I can't think of a category of business even that hasn't entered the doors of SL, from retail to education, its unlimited, and amazing. Some of the educational events I have had the honor to attend, are making incredible changes in students lives due to being able to reach what was once the unreachable, such as better internet tools for teaching, and especially student creativity on the net allowing for thinking outside the box. Countless universities and colleges have come to SL to help give their students an upper hand on education, my hats off to these dedicated people!

Lots of times we take for granted what we cannot see, for instance I will never forget what a friend once told me. He had gone dancing at a club in SL, and saw a very pretty avatar standing alone, and asked her to dance. After a long conversation and several dances, I suppose she felt safe enough to confide in him. She told him she was new to SL and was having the time of her life, that she couldn't remember a time she had so much fun, and admitted she had tears in her eyes and she thanked him. He thought to himself that he had not done anything special. She further told him that she was paralyzed from the neck down and had been for many years, and that this experience for her had in some ways freed her soul, to feel what she had almost forgotten of herself. As he told me this it brought tears to my eyes as well.. but just think, for a time this lady could dance or fly.. what a wonderful thing! As they say.. be careful with the avatar for you never know what is behind it. Show kindness and caring for you never know if its someones last days.

I could tell you about so many experiences in SL as I am sure you could me, good or bad. Bottom line for me is .. I have grown in many good ways due to my personal experiences in SL, and if it wasn't for some crazy guys and gals in CA creating a place to play.. I might not be where I am today. I know more about me than I think I would have known if I had not had this experience. I might not visit as much as I once did, but I take the memories I have obtained with me wherever I go, I open them and peek in and all I can do is smile.

Thank you to all my friends on the net that have continued to come here and view my blog. Its been since the middle of January since I have written here, and I was truly amazed to come on and see how many faithful people continue to come and visit. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I have had a few really deep issues I have had to take care of, one my bout with a super bug that infected my arm in January, and I am still battling some pain in it to this day! All in all though its healed as far as infection that started it so I am very thankful. The second major thing that has been going on is my mother, whom doctors stated has less than a year to live. She has COPD, and also her heart is failing. I want to stay optimistic that in knowing her, that her inner strength carry her past a year, as long as she is comfortable and happy.

I really want to start writing here again we will see how it goes day to day .

Well, believe or not I miss posting here! I have been working rather hard lately in many areas of business and personal life. Today is my stop smoking day, been a long time in the making however it is here. This day is the last day of November 2009, and my youngest son as I have stated in a previous post turned 20 this month so .. I decided that on his birth month would be a good time to stop, its a new era. So if I appear grumpy or unsettled, ramble, curse you, or befriend you, please forgive me now ok ..Laughs.. and in a few days please add me back as a friend lol. I have had this nasty habit and addiction to long. Hugs to all and please don't forget..be easy on me!!

Butterfly Laa: Hello Graceful we met a ways back at an event near Lauks :):) I am wondering if you have anything you would like to say about your Art center here, what is coming in the future?

Graceful Aeon: We hope to get more people involved in donating toward keeping places like this and lauk's open.

We are also planning on seminars and workshops at Lauk's along with the exhibits and music and.. my dream is to host a conference on virtual material culture at lauks. Also with academics, artists, business ppl, communications ppl, lindens on how we determine what to protect here and how to do it. Graceful Aeon: And would you mention our dj, Waartza Quixote, one of the best in sl.

Butterfly Laa: How long does it take you to do one of these? and what inspires?

Beertje Beaumont: it takes about 2 months to make 1 painting, I make the colors myself from powder paint,
and it's all made by hand. She uses material, gems, beads paint very unique art form a must see!!!

Butterfly Laa: tell me what has inspired your art form?

cat Boucher: ohh that is difficult to say....i am doing the photos without photoshop. First cos i am too silly to use it and cos i think its challenging to do photos just with the possibilities from sl.

Butterfly Laa: Cat how long does it take you to do one of your photos?

cat Boucher: I can't explain technically but i try sometimes one hour till i have one photo as I like it from the light and so, I use lights I made myself and play with the Environment settings. Or I use a web or something to get an interesting effect. I see something and get inspired ..I seldom have a concept. For example the photos ....inner soul and with the soldiers, I was at the heknwein museum and saw his work, and than I had the idea to use his photos as background. I dont have a special theme its changing and depends on feelings and moods.
Butterfly Laa: your skin and your outfit makes a statement almost like your art :)
cat Boucher: I tried a bit to use also art from others so to speak, for example a friend of mine does skins ...and I need many skins for my work...and she is supporting me ...Lion skins.

When your youngest is no longer a Teen!

This is my youngest with his girlfriend, they have been together for a year and a bit.
Well less than an hour ago was the 16th of Nov, the day 20 years ago I gave birth to him. I remember the day as though it was yesterday. About 4am in the morning contractions hit me, and by 8:30 am he was born. It was 10 years prior to him I had given birth before so it was like learning all over again, but I got in the swing of things fairly fast! The years looking back flashed by! Now here we are no more teens, that feels good and not so good. Happy to look forward to his future, sad to see past years gone so quickly. I hope his future continues to be bright, and he always remembers to stop to smell the roses along his life's journey, so it doesn't seem to pass by to quickly! Happy Birthday Matthew, Love MOM

This year will soon becoming to an end, hard to believe another is passing so quickly.
Over this year, many wonderful things have occurred, I have met so many good people, so talented, and now good friends. We all have built a very strong community, and enjoyed many good events together.

I also have really enjoyed and continue to enjoy SpotOn3D, this grid/ virtual environment is growing very well, and we will be having a few surprises coming very soon.. that might really catch your ear! We have some top notch Designers in world now, and soon more to arrive. There are up coming events that I will be posting probably in just a couple of weeks or so. On Spoton3d right now we have just done the final upgrade of our Grid to Grid teleporting system, so its very easy to go back and forth to your favorites place with ease. You have to have an account on whatever grid you what to tp to or from. When your in spoton3d look at the top of the map and you will see the grids that you are a member of, just pick the grid and the name of whom you are there and teleport.. that simple.
Soon it will be possible to carry items back and forth with you during this process, however at this point you still would use Second inventory or Meerkat to transport goods to and fro. For those that are selling items on another grid, as well as SpotOn3D, we have something very good for your business. Our Double Dutch system allows you to sell goods on SpotOn3d and then have the same items with no other charges sent to another avatar on another grid. We have plenty of materials for your viewing on the web page at; http://SpotOn3D.com or if your coming in world you will find all that material in our entry area called ETA. We also have someone available almost 24 hours a day to assist your needs, answer any questions that may arise. We also have a mail box at ETA for dropping note cards to us for those rare occasions when someone maybe on a break.

This isn't Betsy but a close look alike!

When I was young, my father managed a ranch in a small town in Florida. The Man and Wife that owned the lands spent most of their time up north, taking care of other lands they owned. They however entrusted my father, as a son figure to them, to take care of the some 1,500 acre ranch. It was a lovely place with three homes, we lived on one of them, with white fencing for several miles out lining the place. Contained within these fence lines we had 6 ponds, several horses, cow about 500, chickens, pigs, lots of dogs and cats. There were adventures at every turn for small kids to find, and my younger brother and I were quite good at finding them!

One of my favorite things to do though was to saddle up one of the most wonderful horses you could ever know, her name was Betsy, and so gentle she was. Lot of the horses we used for rounding up cattle, not sure if Betsy did much of that, however she loved to be ridden. One thing about her, she always liked to be first, don't dare let another horse run faster than her, probably due to your bloodline being quarter horse. She and I would travel all over the land there, and I would spend time brushing her after, she also loved a good carrot and a hug after ours ride.

This video reminds me of the spirit of horses, as I knew them when I was young, just thought I would share a small bit of past.

I have know AM for 3 years now, haven't been able to speak to him much but very much enjoy his installations. If you read this and haven't yet seen what splendid things he does seek his profile under his picks, many of them are there. The work he does is like walking into a fine Art painting, walking into a beautiful canvas, and feeling its essence. Plain and simply he is an extreme artist!

I have known this young man over 11 years now, have seen him over time build awesome career as a Hip Hop rapper, and he continues to climb.. the charts. This man is wise beyond his years, and very dedicated to his artistic rap style. Jacksonville, Florida being his home town, he plays locally as well. Will continue to watch him as time goes on....GO JUNKIE.. and hugs....Peaces

ARTIST BIO
The circumstances which preceded Tough Junkie's manifestation remain unclear. From the information that is available it has been determined
that a culmination of frustrated mental energies and unrecognized talent created the perfect storm for his emergence. So it is said that his birth
occurred in a high school cafeteria, but there is much more to the story that only a few notable scholars have been able to decipher from his lyrics,
unfortunately they soon perished leaving the world still unsure of how this juggernaut's origin came about.
Throughout Junkie's life, music has been his outlet, lifeblood, inspiration and focus. In the late 90's he became fascinated with beat production,
initiating him well beyond music appreciation and fascination and redirecting him towards creation and experimentation. Without access to a
computer, Junkie filled in the missing pieces by incorporating two dual cassette players and a Sony Walkman in what he later found out was a
technique referred to as "Pause Breaking". Continually stumbling upon commonly used and sophisticated production techniques, his infatuation
with creating music grew exponentially. Realizing the importance of music in his life, he continued to educate himself and became familiar with the
technological and structural aspects of production. Although his love of music has no ideology and takes no residence in a single genre, his own
talent and creativity expresses itself through Hip Hop. From the very basics to the sophisticated specifics, every detail oriented to music that he
has studied encompasses the styles he learns, the technology he incorporates and the music he absorbs continually throughout his life.
Spanning over a decade from the beginning of his journey until now, with 43 albums in his past, his official debut album has a home at Colemine
Records (OH). With international exposure, there is hope for a struggling scene that has endured some of the most detrimental setbacks and
obstacles that a collective, in its infancy, can be presented with.

Been so many places seen so many things

Hi all

Well its October, and it seems as time goes on that it simply goes faster... seems like the beginning of the year was here not to long ago.... how time flies by.

Many things are going on lately ... I travel many worlds now, in research and marketing, and to enjoy! Well the enjoyments usually come from the connections between people as I meet them on business terms, and all is good in that respect! I meet people from all over the world and in many business structures, some people I meet are good builders or designers, and some are awesome explorers bringing me to events that focus on extreme builds which I will enter here soon, or business design and structures. Some are with huge corporations, or Universities that have much to offer to virtual environments, and have established good connections with. Education has always been a major factor in virtual for me, I believe strongly that it brings more to the students, things that they couldn't do in a classroom and broadens their prospective.

Book and all are going well, arts too!
Will bring more here soon just so busy ...smiles you all know how it can be!!

She has built a very nice Halloween treat for all to see! Awesome sound affects, haunted house amongst the creepy grounds, with frequent lightening strikes so beware, also a Hay ride! On the Island not far from all this spooktacular doings, is her Mayflower, a ship she has built, so take a look if you live through all the rest!

When we were setting up SpotOn3D, testing the grid, we needed some other bodies to assist. That is the day I met Webby, she is a fun loving, well organized lady! She would later become our leading lady in the SpotOn3D video.

A couple or so weeks later, I traveled to SL to visit and investigate what this young lady and her friends were up to! I was in for many awesome surprises! They have created a band called Angel beach band, they are a great group that put on show that will hold your attention! Here is a description of what and where they do this!

Formerly only for entertaining the residents of our home sim Angel Beach, we had some requests to "play out" -
so we took the show on the road! Now Playing at all our favorite venues evenutually!

COSTUMING: (Special requests coordinated by SUZI)
Each set includes a costume change on stage in a puff of smoke to fit the genre. The women pray everything will rez.. the men have the opposite prayer... lol) Each set includes choreographed dancing featuring different members of the band. We can also color coordinate our outfits to a degree to match your club or stage.

STAGING: (Hook up with WEBBY for staging options)
We have our own beachy 110 prim stage which includes tiki torches, banners, rezzed keyboards, a drum riser and a band tip jar.
Set up is done with a rezzer in literally seconds before your eyes, or we can leave our stage up to promote upcoming shows at your discretion.
We can also just rez a few prims for positioning and equipment, and use the venue's stage.

We can call on our volunteer "Dance Crew" for coordinated dancing during the show for additional excitement and stage dressing ;)

We can also do theme nights such as "Leather and Lace", "Cowboys and Indians", "Jailhouse Rock" - We would do a subset of the five genres at your request :)

Good to See You!

I know I know its been ages since I wrote in here, but juggling many things, and at the end of the day completely away from the web! Not to say I am not continually planning my next this or that, but time (lack of) seems to get in the way of all I need to accomplish.

I have several stories again planned for the blog, in fact pretty much lined up..and more than likely it will be next week before the posting of them begins again!

All is well in my rl, my youngest son finally obtained a job that he really likes and enjoys going to! That is always a plus, when the final in the nest advances... He also acquired his drivers License, watch out roads!!! Probably biggest thing to him was he and his girlfriends one year anniversary! For me I am still working on my art, my writing is coming along, and really working hard on the new grid, so not much has changed for me, except wish there were more hours in a day, but all things for me are positive!

Want to invite anyone who would like to, to come to SpotOn and visit, we have many who have signed up and coming in, hope to see some more friends soon! One friend and I were talking in my front yard there, and he was teaching me my first lessons in clothes making.. Will show you a photo of just how into teaching he is!!!

Time To Reflect

I stay busy twentyfourseven these days, however I love every moment of it! Been writing the Novel every spare moment I get, working on developing my arts in many places rl and virtual environments, working with helping people find their way in SpotOn3D as well. There comes a time though, one must just stop and reflect, cool down, take a small break..to gather ones self again before picking up the pace. One way I do that is to meditate to good music and dance in the sun! I reflect on how change can be stressful but out of that comes many good things. Its a drive inside us all that makes us want to strive, to go beyond where we are. I have always had a mad passion to succeed, and I find ways to push myself to the utmost, to where I don't think that I can reach... and final I reach that level, and its an amazing feeling! Then I am ready to go a bit higher.. I reflect on how lucky I am to be able to conquer any situation I am confronted with, maybe sometimes slowly and precisely but I do get through it all! I am very lucky to have the close friends that I have and extended family in the virtual lands I travel, there is nothing like the closeness we share. Exchanging experiences and good times! I am also very lucky to be working doing something that I am good at and love..that cannot get any better! Rest time almost over! Catch you later, oh... soon will have some very lovely stories for yeah!!

He was a great actor in his time, and much to young to die.. We really do need more research into cancer, it takes to many to young. He was one of the few actors to endure Hollywood's pressures, by being married to the same lady Lisa Niemi from 1975 till his death. They met in 1970, he being 18 and she 14. He starred in many movies but the one that stands out for me is Ghost. It was a very touching movie, even after watching many times! He will be greatly missed by many.. God Bless!

Not everyone can say they have two birthdays.. well some of us can. I remember three years ago, I was given a name of a Virtual World and was told that I would enjoy it, they seemed to think I had an Inquiring mind! I had not been what is called a true internet gamer, I spent most of my time in Yahoo chats, which if you have ever done so know that it can be fun, and also trying on ones patience at the same time. Your subjected to whomever,
bombarded with constant IM's with the most common phrase "age, sex and Location, and in that order! These certain Im's seem to follow you no matter where you go as well, doesn't matter what room your in, they just keep demanding it. I put up with it for I had gained many friends on Yahoo, and lasting ones at that! As I say in my Novel that I am writing, it was time for a change...although I still look in on my friends there, I have for the most part moved on!

I had no idea three years ago, that I would be still talking today of this Virtual World, called Second Life. My early days there were not so pleasant, I was thrust from help Island within the first hour by my also curious son, by accident, to spend my next two days wondering in the dark in a swamp. Was about to call it quits when I met what we call an avatar representation of oneself ( Yeah right lol), who at the time was an Angel of light for me! She even had to show me how to click my in world task bar to chat, looking back it was quite embarrassing moment for me. Her name was Maddy and about a year into our friendship she up and disappeared, I will forever be grateful for her compassion that night, she even showed me where to get free clothes and introduced me to some of her friends. Its not easy being a Newbie!

My years in sl Ive had many great adventures and developed many lasting friendships. Its not everyday you meet people from all over the world in one place! I also have discovered so much about myself as well, and I don't think I am the only one who has experienced changes, for me they have been awesome! What makes the SL experience over the last years give me a warm and fuzzy feeling, has been to discover the person next to you dancing is bedridden in rl and, or cannot get out and socialize anymore, and they are having the greatest time! That makes every time a build disappears, or inventory ends up missing, or a loss of friendship occurs in sl a blessed day anyways! We never know who is behind an avatar, so always respect others.

About three and half months into what I first called a game, I had complied lots information, about the people and places in SL. That produced a light bulb moment to write a book of these very creative and sensitive, and some not so sensitive people I had met. During the beginning of January through the end of February of 2007 I had done just over 400 interviews, mind you they were not lengthy, but got the main information that I wanted to know, and that I hoped others would find interesting.

The next coming months changed things a quite a lot, seems most people in SL find relationships, seems many are compelled in some way to do so. I mean deep seeded beyond friendships sort of relationships. I also fell into that category, unbeknownst to me it would last so long, could say almost a two year period..
during which my perspective on writing took a turn. Interest's at the time had turned to Art.. and that is where it ended some time later.

Since Relationships for the most part end in Sl and statistically is almost 99% they do, I am not surprised at mine ending as well. This last year since that occurred, I couldn't be more happy, my rl and sl lives are very good and finally put back into perspective. My book never the less changed, well I tore the old one up, and have rewritten it into a Novel, it will only have fictitious names, so all will have to guess at who you are. I plan to write another with actual names if all are in agreement, we will see! If it gets written will be better than the first I attempted to write.

This is my rezz day, (sl birthday) and spending a bit different this year! I will be attending my SL brother of 3 years wedding! I am extremely happy for him. I hope he and his lady will change the stats on SL relationships! It will be a great evening, probably the best I have ever had! For the compassion and trust of true friendship out weighs all!

A Place I Go To Think And Enjoy Others

Everyone needs a place where they can think... and for me maybe its not the norm, most find a quiet place where there is solitude. I on the other hand find that same peace among good people! Tends to broaden my creativity, and the place I go to in Second Life does that for me! I would like to say the people there are warm and inviting. Some places in Second Life give the feeling of real world stresses, so much industry, not saying its a bad thing, it provides income for many, and if its their way to make a living more power to them.. People need to as I put it, and it's an old saying to"Stop and Smell the Roses," once in a while! Does the mind, soul, and spirit good!

Because this place is my solitude, if you can find it, then will say hello, however my lips are sealed as to its location at this time!!!! Only one person off my friends list knows where it is, and he is welcome any time! He should know who he is as well!

Been very busy writing, and also helping with a new Metaverse World, called SpotOn3D, and its free to sign up and go in and take a peek! Will shortly do a featured presentation of the goings on and you may see us on Twitter, Facebook, and a few others...Come to a meeting in SL and we can walk you through anything you don't understand or chase away any of those new metaverse world fears! The Free Dove, and Romance Park In Scoopwing

I have been in SL since 2006, and when I first arrived as anyone might remember of themselves, we were pure newbs! We had very little anything in inventory, and if we were lucky enough to have someone talk to us, they may have told you as they did me of the Free Dove! Its a free clothing store, done by Palomma Casanova. She and a friend started it long ago, well before I came there! Palomma has good clothing makers create items for us avatars to wear, and they have to be made well enough to pass her inspection! Palomma isn't new to SL she is what I call an elder, been here since 2004, and she knows the ups and downs that can occur in this place we call a second home! There has never been a time since coming to SL that, that store hasn't had anyone in it! A little relaxing at the Park

She also created something called the Dove Goddess Romance Park, and will give you an SLur for it, its a relaxing place with many pose balls, good music, calming seas, and more to much more to explain! I can tell you its very well done though, and for Newbies, or even some of us that have been around a while will enjoy.

New Painting

I enjoy painting, and I have become very accustom to using my mouse now to paint with! For those who don't know, I use a program called Gimp to produce my work, however, I don't use the program as intended, I don't use the filters just the paint palette and in the tool box the brush sizes, and my mouse. I wanted them to be unique to my style of painting as I do with acrylics on canvas/ art board. I believe I am achieving that, or about to!! A few artists in my hometown have complimented me on my work and are surprised that it can be done. I am still looking forward to working with the college to present my work, and to teach others how to do it! I have some shows coming up soon! Seeing the economy is so bad, and always trying to save money, I just couldn't pass up this deal for this wonderful little Island!!! Just think of it my view is wonderful, whales pass by all day long, and I have room enough to sit and view them.
I don't have to worry about clutter, thank goodness! I can go swimming at a moments notice! What else could one ask for!! ?? Oh, I know..... hmm where did my boat go!

I have known so many people over the years in SL and a few stick out in my mind, the ones that really make a difference in peoples lives. Midnight Seduction is a lovely dance place but what makes it special is people flock here even on a Thursday to dance and talk and have fun!!! That says something about the people behind this very nice place!! Sweetrose Lovenkraft co owner, I have known since 2007, when she was a mere Newbie, but so much life within her! She shows all who come to Midnight Seduction that lovely part of her, with full of life attitude....!!! She is well loved!! We all need a break once in a while, and the thought of doing a build came to me and off to the sandbox I go. Thinking all the way, how I will enjoy the wide open spaces, the music, and the mere fact I needed a break!!!! As I arrived seemed all were being so creative, and I hoping my rusty fingers still worked!!

I have known Syl for about a year and a half now, and in SL years that is a long time, during which we have had many good conversations. Mind you short visits due to us leading very busy lives, but we manage to stay in touch, thank goodness! She is a wonderful person, and it shows in all she does! She is an extreme artist in RL/SL and also very interested in assisting others in their endeavors in the music field. In the following will be her Bio and also some other interesting facts about this very inspiring lady!

Syl Darcy AKA Sylvia Marks

I have painted all of my life in 2006 I opened a real life art gallery and studio in Rockledge, Florida. I feel very blessed to say I am host to 16 of the the most unique artist in my community. I paint live on the internet and that is what brought me into Second Life. I was painting live one day and one of my viewers from Belguim said to me have you been to Second Life:) I was like hahahaha what is Second Life?? He told me that he thought my art would be great here. I joined to market my art and did not relize I would meet so many wonderful ppl from all over the world. I love sharing my art with so many wonderful friends I have made here in sl.

STATEMENT

"Art is my passion, and it is also my voice. The images I create may tell a story, reflect a mood, or just simply come to be, but my work is always motivated by my own experiences, feelings, and the world around me. Although I refer to my painting style as realism, I strive to paint using direct strokes of the brush, incorporating refined color tones, implied brush strokes, and subtle textures.

I am fascinated with the effects of light and shadow. Many of my paintings incorporate strong contrasts, shadow effects, or mystical effects captured by applying thin layers of color, one over the other. I enjoy listening to people as they view my work. Most comment on the soft color tones, and the quiet feeling of peace created in my images. Although I sometimes work in oil, my medium of choice is definately acrylic.

I still enjoy accepting commissions, as there is always a wonderfully interesting story behind each portrait or painting. It's very rewarding when my work is given as a gift, and is well received by the recipient. Creating a piece that touches someone and makes them happy is what makes my work as an artist so rewarding.

Art is not merely a project, craft or trade. It is an understanding of all that we take in and how we perceive it. It is about the soul. All of us have different perceptions, but we are connected by the universal ability to view something and take it into our soul, to make it our own. Therefore, "seeing" is only a tool by which we each perceive our reality. Art is a language we can all speak and it knows not the bounds or restrictions of our lives. Art is uncontrolled and breathing. Separate from us, yet it has the ability to become a part of us forever. As an artist, I am an interpreter. This is my goal, to understand, perceive, and touch your soul. I capture the moments in time we cherish and give them back to you in dreams on canvas"

Scoutlounge, House Music Community

Scoutlounge is not just a normal SL Club. It is a Community of users from all over the world, linked together by the passion for House Music.

In my travels and research always looking for interesting places, and due to some friends from the past and interesting profiles ( smiles ) I came across this place!

This is an Island of the musical Arts, Founder; Lexx Runo, its a community of live DJ,s go at it back to back for up to 18 hours a day, Seven days a week. These very talented musical artist come from all over the world, since 2007, this place has grown to over 100 DJ's playing, and believe me from what I have seen, there are always people there somewhere from around the world in RL coming to SL to enjoy anytime of the day or night!

I briefly had a chance talk to Anabella Wrigglesworth one of the managers, and to interview one of the Director of this awesome place, Cesare Drucker, and I asked him, Do a lot of these artists find this sort of thing helpful for them in Rl, he states " we try to help them, especially the big advantage is about networking, one european DJ can hear a japanese or US DJ and get new inspiration or also technical advice." He further states, "I know of a few DJs who have been learning how to DJ on SL, and they are very good, they could surely perform live in RL" He made it very clear a lot of team work and effort goes into this venture!! Thank you both for your time and I hope that everyone in SL can appreciate this awesome creative musical place in SL!

Jon Haskell has been a friend for at least two years in Second Life. In the time I have known him he has highly developed his passion.... Very Realistic Sculptures, and not just any, but many, and of wildlife, ranging from pets, baby animals, farm animals, birds, fish, exotic animals, and more. When you enter his store, you begin to feel the nature around you with sight and sounds! These animals and creature are low prim and not expensive and scripted for sound and or movement, so anyone can enjoy these lovely realistic animated creations in sl! It is a must see!!! Painting the Town

I have been painting for years, and years ago entered many shows, sold quite a few pieces and then came children lol....and of course they come first, I wasn't making enough doing arts to support us sufficiently, so I focused on my children and did an occasional painting. I had active sons and their dad was in the Navy and out to sea a lot so it was out of the question to try to do shows back then...

Recently, since my three sons are adult now, ( the last barely) its my turn again to explore.. so beside the college gigs I have coming, I will be attending up coming shows and my first is next Saturday, have hooked up with other artists in the area, and we will all meet and exchange ideas as they come! Its a great community of people and I feel right at home!

Just thought I would share that bit of information with you, as many of you follow some of my art doings! All my work will be sold as copies, my originals are safely tucked away! I have a few friends in other parts of the country that are willing also to spread my work, but first getting the home town connection solid!

Been enjoying RL a bit so haven't been writing here lately, was to return sooner but got a lot done! I am presently working on setting up with the Jacksonville Coalition for the Visual Arts, they want me to give some Seminars on my style of Art! I will also be presenting some of my work at the Art Walk down town Jacksonville. Still writing and enjoying doing so, the chapters are taking longer due to so many other things in the works!! Will show you a work I just completed, or at least I think I have, ( feel like they always could use more of something)!! Again I will show the progression of the piece, this piece is from an acrylic painting I have done a few years ago in RL. Was told that it couldn't be done, to produce a from scratch painting in a pc program to look like a painting in such as acrylics etc, well here it is! Exactly why I have been given the opportunity to Lecture and teach this, at our local college. No program devices, have been used only the paint color palette, and mouse! Hugs to all, Butterfly

Helen Keller Day in SL

One of my favorite people to have learned about in jr High was Helen Keller, I couldn't get my hands on enough to read about her. She Was born June 27, 1880, and passed on June 1, 1968, and she was born in the small town of Tuscumbia, in Alabama. She was completely blind and deaf, and became uncontrollable at times, for her parents, it was becoming increasingly hard to control her, Helen didn't know how to communicate with others, she would often throw things, or bite probably due to much frustration, however, I am sure it had to be rough on her parents, not knowing how to help their child. Early on in Helen's young life at age 5, Ann Sullivan, came to her to teach her how to communicate, or at least try, it was quite difficult at first but in time Helen began to learn, and until her death never stopped wanting to learn. Please when you have time look up Helen Keller and Ann Sullivan, two very interesting ladies in a time that was very difficult in itself to live even without a disability.

Today and I believe this is the only day in Second life they are having Helen Keller day. Not only to reflect on this wonderful woman's courage and strength and abilities, but to come together to make the Second Life experience more interesting, fun, and exciting for those with disblities, some with partial and or total loss of sight, and hearing. Virtual Helping Hands Group, and Wheelies are key help in organizing this event, and also instrumenting in creating new aids to assist the blind and deaf in Second Life, They are having many speakers from all over that have some link to the above mentioned things. I am sure you can contact these groups if you have access to Second Life for further information, in detail, for your interest or if you know someone who could use their assistance. To speak of a couple of them; Michael Vision, is blind, and in real life worked at the Twin Towers in New York City, where on the day of 911, was on the I believe the 78th floor, when the planes hit. With is co-worker, and also his seeing eye dog he and the people he was with were able to make it out down the stair, after an hour the plane had hit. They made it down the street, only to have the one of the towers fall, and they began to breath in debris. He was calm he said because his buddy, Rossell (seeing eye dog) he said remained calm. He says since 2007 his dog has retired, and relaxing now in his back yard. He now has another seeing eye dog and continues to do well...

Keller Sight, she is a relative of Helen Keller, and she gave a wonderful talk about the town of Tuscumbia, that she lives in that Helen grow up in, was quite interesting, and she gave a lot of details of Helen you might not have had any where else! Second life was crashing repeatedly so I don't have all the information I would have like to have had at this time, however when in world you can contact some of these people and see who has the schedules and the speeches in writing, because they were recorded!
Pathfinder Linden has be instrumental in helping extremely to put this together with many others such as Pologara Paine (Wheelies Director) Simon Walsh (Creator of Wheelies) and so on...

Tornado Today!

Hi all, today about 5pm we had what most thought was a waterspout on the St Johns River in Jacksonville.. It actually started over land and went to the water and back to land again, making it actually a Tornado! There we no injuries reported due directly to the storm itself, however due to heavy rains, there were a few car accidents, and thank goodness no reported fatalities. Several people in town, had cell phones with cameras and got some excellent shots of the Tornado. Will put a link to one of our local news channels on here so you can view what many are calling some award winning shots of this impressive storm. One gentlemen got a photo of inside the funnel as it passed briefly the second time over land, he stated, he couldn't hear the train sounds, just sounds of garbage cans, screen doors and other debris flying past him. I am sorry for posting so many You Tube entries, or death notices.. I had to though, many of these people I kind of grew up with, I watched something of them all, this hit me, when it all happen so close together..honestly it was enough for me past days to respect my brothers death, then... they kept coming, people I didn't know personally but felt some kind of connect with! They lite up my life in someway, along the way..and had to post Tributes, just had to..I hope my last entries don't portray me as morbid, for my intentions are good!! Have to honor a passing as well as any birth, that I am aware of! I am doing well though, just have to reflect... Hugs to all.... Butterfly

Wow, Mr. McMahon died on Tuesday 23rd of June, He was an announcer, friend, and sidekick to Johnny Carson on the Tonight Show. They spent many many years doing that show together, He and Johnny would surely make one laugh...They came on quite late at night, and if I couldn't sleep would watch them, they were great! He died at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center LA, his wife and family being at his side, at the age of 86.

Today a call to 911 was made early this afternoon from the Jackson home. Paramedics arrived and transported him to an LA Hospital, where he died of cardiac arrest. He was only 50 years old, someone else I had watched my growing up years... He had a brilliant career in the music business from as far back as a child...in the days of the Jackson Five..Went on to thrill the world with his music and early on charm. He was known as the "King of Pop" God Bless you!!!

Farrah Fawcett, February 2, 1947- June 25, 2009

At 9:28am Farrah lost her 3 year fight with anal cancer, she will be missed, I know I will, she was sort of an Idol when I was young..She was one of Charlies Angels, and in the show Six Million Dollar Man, and she was nominated for an Emmy for the movie "The Burning Bed". She made many appearances through out her career.
She left this world at the age of 62. God Bless You!

Oh my don't let me forget this one... children can have two favorites!!!!! LOL

What was your favorite Teen songs.. Mine was, Diana Ross and the Supremes, I loved how she would sing.. looking back seems she sang a lot of sad songs lol, however, to me the rhythm, and Diana's great voice, I suppose just erased all that sad stuff.. :) My to be husband, unbenounced to me at the time...:) we were dating and he would go out to sea, due to being in the Navy, and be gone here and there.. and I would listen to these songs.. Somehow they made me happy!!!

Then, later when I was married, Ms. Diana was on her own and ohhh my what a singer... and I liked this one, however, all her songs were always good!

As time went on, Diana had some years, I can remember she would cry through songs, such a sensitive heart this lady has, this is a tribute for Marvin Gaye....from her

When I got a bit older... :):) there became another part of me to be exposed, my husband ( no longer married) brought home an album... Bat out of Hell... and even though this isn't the original ( In this video, the band is a lot older ..) but one of my older not teen years songs and music by Meat Loaf.. ( Gosh Hungry now lol) The album was very theatrical, and at the time loved my dance classes, Jazz and more..so even though a bit different for me I loved it! Can anyone out there tell me what it is he wouldn't do in for love? I to this day don't know... Let me know if you do please... thank you early on.. I know someone out there has the answer!!!
